Domain guide photographs
Domain guides may display attributed photographs hosted by Wikimedia Commons. Loading a photograph sends your IP address and browser connection information to Wikimedia. We set a no-referrer policy on these images so the domain page address is not sent with the image request. Image credits link to the original file and its license.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement
On vswiki.com, Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement are optional and have separate consent choices. We do not load their Google tag until you allow at least one purpose. Reject all keeps both off; choosing only analytics does not configure the Ads destination, and choosing only advertising measurement does not configure Analytics.
After consent, Google may process cookies, online identifiers, and connection information for the purposes you allowed. Personalized advertising and Google Signals remain disabled. We do not implement purchase/conversion events or upload customer information through these tags. Measurement includes the public page path, including domain and comparison slugs, which may identify the subjects being compared. Our manual Analytics page-view events use generic page titles and exclude typed query parameters, URL query strings, fragments, and unknown routes. External referrers are reduced to their origin.
Privacy choices in the footer lets you accept, reject, or select purposes. Your choice is stored in this browser until you change it or clear browser storage. Changing an active choice reloads the page to stop previously loaded tags; withdrawing a purpose also removes its accessible first-party Google measurement cookies.
See Google's privacy policy for its data practices. You can use VSWiki without allowing optional measurement.
